I’m lucky enough to be married to a very talented artist (www.thelittlewren.com if you’re interested), and from time to time we get to collaborate on different things. This project from 2017 for the Beaker Street science festival took place over a few hours in an old sail loft where she would paint a little and I would take a photo to build up a time-lapse of the facial musculature appearing on the models face, it was quite slow and probably more challenging for the model than us, she said it was harder than modelling for Herman Nitsch’s 150.Action, if you’re going to look that up then it probably deserves a content warning, do so at your own risk!
