Diving the Dampier Strait

A personal project filming the incredible marine life of Raja Ampat in West Papua. One of the most biodiverse marine areas on earth. The Indonesian Through Flow current provides a rich source of nutrients for coral reefs teeming with life. Above the surface the Islands of west papua are part of the Australasian bioregion and dominated by marsupials such as cuscus and tree kangaroos.
